Caro made us feel very welcome and was a big help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it for a casual stay.

Caro greeted me with a smile and seems to run everything herself, including the hostel next door. I thought it was great how hands-on she was. Our room had AC and cable TV, and the bedding was really comfortable. The price was very, very good too.

The area is quiet, and the innkeeper pointed us to a great nearby restaurant with a singer. We appreciated the warm welcome and the trust: I booked by phone without paying a deposit, and the rooms were consistently held in my name. It worked very well for our one-night stay. The place could use renovations, though, and the website needs updating.

Caro was waiting to welcome us with a big smile when we arrived at midnight, and she answered all our questions. The room was really cute and had a nice hot shower. We'll definitely come back.

The owner is friendly and the rates are very low, so this works well for students or anyone on a tight budget who won't spend much time in the room. The rooms are clean, though not spotless. Ours was in the semi-basement and smelled damp. There are extra charges for a private bathroom and breakfast, the decor is dated, and there's no air conditioning, though every room has a portable fan.
