Motel Princesse

We were gone 15 minutes after getting there because the rooms were so gross, and we've demanded a full refund. We had booked three, and every one was disgusting. The carpets were old and smelled, and the flat sheets, with no fitted sheets, were so worn you could see through them. Two rooms smelled musty. The third had a perfume odor, as if someone was trying to cover up smoking. Don't stay here. Your car, a ditch, or a drunk tank would be better. I was going to say even a sidewalk would be more comfortable.

Nothing fancy, just an average motel room. It was very clean, and the price was quite reasonable.

The restaurant is handy and stays open until 9pm, with good food. The rooms are decent, and the price gives you good value, especially if you're visiting Jonquiere. Just be ready for a language barrier: there may not be English-speaking staff, so if you don't know French, you'll be relying on Google Translate a lot.

I booked this place after Google listed it as pet-friendly, but it absolutely isn't. The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful, though. She seemed to be the only English-speaking employee and helped me find another motel that accepted pets.
