The place is clean and quaint, with artwork displayed throughout. I travel a lot, and Pierre is easily the best host I’ve had. The real icing on the cake was his kindness and the hospitality he showed us. A real gem!

We had a great time sharing breakfast with Pierre and the other guests. It was convivial and a lot of fun, and Pierre made two of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Our room was cozy, private, and very clean, with TV and Wi-Fi. We stayed for two nights and would happily come back. It’s not far from parc mauricie.

Such a friendly atmosphere, and the breakfast was wonderful.

The garden was a lovely place to relax, and we could park right by the entrance. The rooms were cozy and thoughtfully furnished, and Pierre’s own paintings around the small hotel were really worth seeing. He’s an artist, and a very interesting, warm person to sit and chat with. His local tips were helpful too, and spending time with him made the place feel like family, almost like a second home in Canada. Breakfast was a highlight every morning. Pierre cooked generous, delicious meals fresh and asked what we preferred. Since we’re vegetarian, he even bought meat-free options for us. We also got to walk and play with his well-behaved German shepherds several times. Pierre breeds them, and makes sure they stay out of the accommodation and garden if guests would rather not have them there. We’re already looking forward to visiting again, and can highly recommend Pierre and his place.
