We had gorgeous light for a family photo to remember our Salt Spring Island trip. The sunset last night was beautiful, and it was lovely seeing families out enjoying the beach.

The ocean water is cold, as you'd expect, but it was clear and clean. Great spot for a swim and to watch the sunset.

We came as visitors and skipped the resort, using the private beach area instead. It was great, and the children really liked it. I've heard the resort itself is excellent too.

I came to explore the beach geology and had fun doing that. Living by the water is nice, though this isn't really the best place for views.
