Palace Inn Motel

The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were really comfortable, and it stayed quiet. The curtains blocked the light well, and the heater kept the temperature just right while making enough soft noise to help me sleep. Water pressure was great too. The bathroom had an odd shape, but I figure that gave more room to the main area, which I appreciated. I arrived late after stopping overnight to break up a long drive. I’d told the gentleman, who may have been the owner, when to expect me, and he checked me in right away. He was friendly and courteous. Glad I picked this place, and I’d happily stay again on my next long drive.

The rooms are on the small side, but cozy, clean, and well kept. I don't think there's enough room for a large family, though a solo traveler or couple should be well taken care of. The person I spoke with was warm, kind, and genuinely pleasant. That personal welcome really stood out. Palace Inn is also more than reasonably priced, which is a real plus when affordable hotels are hard to find. If you want somewhere clean and affordable run by people who care about their guests, I'd recommend it.

I was impressed. The place is freshly renovated, surprisingly clean and quiet, kid friendly, and works for a single truck with no trailer. The owner was very polite and accommodating, and speaks English well. For a hotel that's not part of a brand, it holds its own. I'd recommend it and will most likely stay here again.

The rooms are small and the bed could be more comfortable, but for the money, you can't beat it. It's very basic, so don't expect a five star hotel. The owner is helpful and accommodating, and if you're stuck in Sarnia on a tight budget, this is the place to stay. I can't complain about it.
