Satelite Motel

The room I had for six nights was nicely updated, and the owner and manager are great, though they’re often away from the front desk. There was a woman yelling and crying in the middle of the night. I’d stay away from the back of the motel. Otherwise, it’s pretty good!

A budget-friendly motel that worked fine for a quick overnight stop while I was passing through. The room was okay for the price, though I noticed a slight smell. It did the job as a place to rest for the night.

I wanted to leave, but it was too late to go anywhere else. The room was filthy: mold along the fridge seal, a thick layer of ice in the freezer, which had no door, and a disgusting bathroom floor. The insides of the drawers were gross too. The room door looked as if it had been kicked in and screwed back together. There was garbage all over the parking lot and “courtyard,” with weeds badly overgrown. Management has clearly read and responded to the reviews, but it doesn’t seem like any upkeep is being done. I’d give it a -1 if I could.

I didn’t sleep well because people in the next room were coming and going at all hours. My bed was wrinkled, and there were short black hairs on the sheets. Towels were limited, with no face cloths or hand towels, and the coffee maker in the room was filthy.
