Super 8 By Wyndham Slave Lake Ab

The service was amazing, with really nice people running the place, especially at breakfast. The room was standard but comfortable, and the central Slave Lake location was convenient, with a McDonalds close by. They serve a simple continental breakfast, and I enjoyed it. I’d recommend the Super 8 if you’re staying in the area.

The lady serving breakfast gave awesome service, five stars for her. Check-in was quick and the greeting was warm. Great location and a great place to stay in SLAVE LAKE.

Warm cookies and a welcome home were awesome, and after a hard day’s work it was nice that the staff had time to joke and ask about your day. They knew we were away from family and made us feel like theirs. I spent 17 days there, and some nurses and others were staying longer, which I guess is because of all of the above. The rooms were warm, with induction cooking, and there was a gym and pool. Breakfast was basic. We all like wraps because they’re quick to take along when we don’t have time to sit down. The team was one of the nicest I’ve met. And if you run into trouble, the maintenance man is the best around. Martin, thanks for everything you do.

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful, but I was disappointed with the cleaning during my extended work stay. My room was cleaned every four days, and it wasn’t a great experience. The lotion, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers were never wiped down, and the floor, walls, and tub stayed dirty, so I cleaned everything myself afterward. I’m understanding and have cleaned rooms before, which made the housekeeping even more disappointing.
