The beach is right at the end of the building, and we spent hours wandering along the beautiful shore. I loved relaxing on the deck in the Adirondack chairs and taking in the view. If we'd found this place at the start of our trip, I might not have wanted to leave. Patrick, the owner I believe, was so kind and helpful when I was scrambling at the last minute to find a place for the night. Danielle, the manager, is incredibly sweet too. The buildings are older, but clearly cared for, and everything was very clean despite all the sandy feet. The beds were comfortable, the linens felt fresh, and our double room with a kitchenette had a surprising amount of equipment for such a compact space. It felt a little tight with our luggage, though maybe that's just the room type we had, since I didn't see the others. Come for the cozy charm, striking views, and direct beach access, not for anything fancy or modern. It's clearly pet and kid friendly, with common outdoor areas, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and BBQs.

We spent two nights here and will definitely be back, though later in the week since most places close on Mondays and Tuesdays. My husband and dog enjoyed early morning walks on the beach, and I had a lovely afternoon reading and snoozing on the deck. It's a nicely updated strip motel, and the private decks look out over the water. The decor is traditional, with new mattresses and nice bedding. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms could use an update. The mini fridge, toaster, microwave, and coffee pot came in handy.

Watching the tide come in and spotting deer made for a memorable stay, and the view was amazing. The owner was really nice and gave us great suggestions for where to eat. We had a lovely time!

Being able to watch the tides change right from our room's deck was incredible, absolutely mesmerizing. It's such a peaceful little place, and the owner/operators were very attentive. Comfy, cozy, and clean. We only wish we'd had more time. Next time, we'll definitely stay much longer!

My favorite part was the private deck overlooking the bay. From there, you can watch the tides rise and fall, hear the seagulls singing in the morning, and see the stars at night. This little roadside motel has a lot of charm. The room is large, with a small but full kitchen and a shared barbecue grill outside. The beds are comfortable, and the WiFi is good.
