Country Dream

Gisele was incredibly friendly and even offered to be an emergency contact for my daughter and her friend while they’re in Kelowna for work and school. Our cozy room in the beautifully built house had a queen bed and its own private bathroom. Breakfast was filling and excellent: two sunny-side-up eggs, two sausages, two pancakes, orange slices, plus coffee and tea. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We loved how quiet and relaxing the location was, and had a great time chatting with the host. Country dream felt like a home away from home, but it was also a lovely escape. The room was clean, the bathroom beautiful, and the bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. Thanks, Giselle and Jim, for helping us make such great memories. We’ll definitely be back!

We had plenty of laughs with Gisele and Jim, who were wonderful hosts. The food was scrumptious, and our room was clean and cozy. They’ve made a beautiful, peaceful hideaway in West Kelowna. My wife, my friend, his partner, and I would certainly stay again next time we pass through.

We know how much an owner's care can mean because we run a vacation resort ourselves, and we’re grateful to find places like this that aren’t owned by corporations. Country Dreams was a peaceful oasis in this less-travelled part of BC, and we regretted having to leave after Giselle and Jose served us a delicious breakfast that we couldn’t finish. The quiet, cozy room, comfortable bed, and bathroom met our expectations. The evening on the veranda with Giselle and her helper Jose was lovely, and the healthy glass of rose Giselle brought out made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the drive along the Lake to Fintry and a little walk around the neighbourhood. Giselle and her transformed husband Jim came out to say goodbye, and we vowed to return soon for their hospitality and the peaceful stay.
