Indian Falls Chalets

Coming back to your own peaceful little place after a day out made each outing even better. We used Indian Falls Chalets as our base for hiking and exploring central Newfoundland on our second trip to the province. The chalets were very clean and had all the amenities we needed, and the setting was lovely and scenic. Michelle and Shawn were lovely hosts, too. The river is only a few steps away, so it’s handy for salmon fishing or kayaking. We had a relaxing, peaceful stay, and the chalet was comfortable and cozy. It was clean, modern, well looked after, and had everything we needed. Michelle and Shawn were so welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Two nights flew by, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The nearby Alexander Murray Trail was a real highlight, and from the chalet we had a beautiful river view. We even got lucky and saw salmon jumping by the little waterfalls. The Newfoundland Indian Falls Chalet was spotless, nicely styled, and had everything we needed to relax. The owners were there on site, friendly, and quick to help. They made us feel very welcome. Such a hidden gem!

We really liked having the community bonfire pit ready to light, and there’s a long riverside walking trail beside a park right next to the chalets. A service station with a convenience store is an easy walk away, and town is just a short drive for other conveniences. Our chalet exceeded what we expected. It was a beautiful, very clean two-bedroom, two-bathroom place, fully equipped and right by the river and falls. The property is clean and well maintained, and it’s conveniently just off the highway. The owners are wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and hospitable.
