Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland

I spent nearly 30 days at the Sheraton in St. John's, Newfoundland, and had a pleasant stay from beginning to end. The staff are the heart of the hotel, and the front desk team were consistently polite, helpful, and professional. Onur deserves special mention for going above and beyond, making sure my needs were met and looking after me throughout the long visit. They were also a huge help when my flight was canceled and I had to rebook my room. Onur and the other female employees, whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch, handled the booking promptly and smoothly, and supported me through the stress of the delay and missing luggage. I felt comfortable and looked after during a chaotic situation. Thanks to the whole Sheraton St. John's team for the care and comfort. I highly recommend it for short or extended stays.

The room was spotless, and the location made it easy to walk anywhere. I spent three nights here in early June 2024, close to the shoreline, for the Schluter System Innovation Workshop: Part 2, sponsored by Schluter System Canada. It was chilly, windy, and drizzly, but the stay was still fantastic and memorable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the catering was delicious throughout. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure and would stay again.

My staff and I always have an outstanding time working and staying at the Sheraton in St. John’s. The entire sales and banquet teams were organized, responsive, and attentive, which made our event run smoothly and successfully. Kathleen Dominie, the Catering and Sales Manager, was meticulous, professional, and quick to respond during planning and delivery. Kirk from the banquet staff checked in and helped us on the event day, while Shaine Pineda was welcoming and followed up professionally. Dave Maunder from Encore was kind and accommodating, making sure we were ready for the seminar tech-wise. Heartfelt thanks to them and all the Sheraton staff for their excellent support.

We’ve stayed at the Sheraton Hotel, St. John’s, NL twice now, and both visits have been excellent. Brenda from Guest Services and Ashley at Reception welcomed us back warmly and were very helpful with our many questions about tours, attractions, and the hotel’s amenities. Our clean, comfortable room looked out over the harbour. We also enjoyed the restaurant, Bivver, and the Club Lounge. The hotel is an easy walk from downtown’s popular areas and attractions. The staff are exceptional, and we look forward to coming back to St. John’s, NL.
