The original floors and lovely old woodwork on much of the first floor gave the place a lot of character. My daughter treated me to the stay, and I enjoyed the English breakfast all three mornings. It was great each time, so I imagine the waffles and pancakes are good too. When I get the chance to come back with my wife, we’ll stay here together.

The rooms have everything you could want, and the bathroom was stocked with what a traveler might need. Coffee and tea are always available, and the owners do their best to look after you. It’s cozy, close to downtown and the border crossing, and breakfast is fantastic.

We’ve been coming to the Blair House Inn for four years and already plan to return next year. The area is fantastic, and the heritage of the house is lovely. David is a wonderful host, the place is clean, and we always enjoy the tea and cookies at night and the delicious British breakfast.

A quiet place where I slept like a baby. The host even put down a piece of plywood so my motorcycle wouldn’t fall over overnight, without me having to ask. Those small thoughtful touches really do make a difference. I had an excellent stay.

We stayed at Blair House on our way back from visits to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. It was comfortable and the breakfast was fine, though the place felt somewhat impersonal. Compared with other Canadian B&Bs where we’ve stayed, it was overpriced.
