The place is quiet, family owned and run by hardworking people, with easy parking and a simple in and out. The property is beautifully cared for, and everything was very clean. The furnishings are nice, the large flat screen TV and dorm refrigerator are good sizes, and there’s also a microwave. The heat and air conditioning worked great. You can get a small bag of ice from the office, and coffee and tea are available there from 8-10 am. There’s outdoor seating too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

After a long day of driving, this was just what we needed. Scoodic Motel is a tidy, safe little place in good shape. It’s not fancy, but Daniel was friendly and made the reservation easy. You call to book and pay when you check in. We left four cards from a wallet behind by accident, and Daniel called after we’d gone, then brought them out to the car when we drove back. A hidden gem.

Our room at the Scoodic Motel was spacious, well laid out, and had everything we needed. The owners were incredibly helpful and generous, and the cleanliness was impeccable. They invited us to have a complimentary coffee in the office with the breakfast things we brought, which was a nice way to start the day. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the motel. Let the hardworking owners know how happy you are.

Right by the border, this was a great place to stay. The service was friendly, and our room was clean, comfortable, and a great value for the price. It was so quiet that I couldn’t hear other rooms or outside noise, which isn’t always true at motels. I had a relaxing night and slept really well.

The owner’s thoughtful little gesture made the stay: my buddy and I arrived on motorcycles, and in the morning there were washcloths on our handlebars to wipe dew off the seats. The rooms were fresh and seemed recently updated, with a welcoming feel. For an inexpensive place, the quality was top-notch, and the owner was so kind and attentive. Great value and hospitality. Five stars!
