Quality Inn & Conference Centre Downtown

We had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel, and it was fantastic and well priced. The hotel itself was a different story for anyone bothered by noise. A strange buzzing came and went all day and evening on the second floor. The busy nearby streets brought car and snowplow noise in winter, and the train station is right there. Groups and children ran along the halls late into the evening, past 11 p.m. The room was okay, the bed decent, and the shower fine, but some furniture, including the office chair, was ripped or falling apart. Breakfast wasn’t memorable, and I skipped it on my second morning because I didn’t like the food or the options. If noise is an issue for you, I wouldn’t stay here.

The breakfast included with the stay had a wider selection than any other hotel breakfast I’ve had. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, too. Our room stayed warm and comfortable, and we spent two evenings relaxing there. I’d stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

The desk clerk at check-in and the manager at checkout were both superb. We also got a call within minutes of entering the room to see if everything was satisfactory. The room was clean with crisp sheets, a very comfortable bed, and extra fluffy pillows. The thermostat worked perfectly, and the temperature was just right.

The friendly staff were the best part of my stay at the Quality Inn in Sudbury. The beds squeaked badly and were so uncomfortable that sleeping was difficult. My TV didn’t work, and noise was a constant problem, both outside and in the loud hallways. I tried the hot breakfast, but the hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon were cold. The neighborhood also made me feel a little uneasy. I was disappointed, and wouldn’t stay again unless things improved.
