Exam time is more stressful because you have to move out on the Saturday morning after your final week. On the third floor, the heat stays on full blast all winter. Even with the window open as far as it would go, I struggled to get the temperature below 25 Celsius. There are mice every single year, despite assurances there aren’t any and a displayed certificate saying the dorms are pest free. The Wi-Fi cuts out extremely often, and there were black stains all over my floor that wouldn’t come off. If you can find other accommodations, do it. Living here isn’t worth it.

The location was incredibly convenient and the price was fair. I lived here for three years during school, though I did have to deal with flooding toilets and a few mice.

The building, unit, and shared cooking facilities were absolutely disgusting, so we refused to stay. I booked it thinking it would be like a hotel because the website says there are cooking facilities. They said we’d get a refund for all but one night, but I had to file a credit card dispute to get it. Avoid this place at all costs.

Groceries and other resources are within reach, and the individual rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s worth the money, especially with the international bursary. A few staff are respectful and amazing. On the downside, some power hungry, miserable students have been appointed as Residence Advisors, and there are like-minded people in other staff positions.
