Eagle Bear Lodge

We really didn't want to leave and wished we could have stayed longer, or given more than five stars. It felt so welcoming, lovely, and full of kindness. Thank you, Jen and David, for such beautiful days, the delicious meals, and your stories about the wildlife!

There was so much wildlife to see and imagine around the lake and through the forest. The hosts were thoughtful, kind hearted animal lovers, and entertaining too. They made it feel like a home away from home, and were perfect guides to the area. A wonderful experience.

The cabin was cozy, spotless, and beautifully set up, and the surroundings were quiet, serene, and lovely. The hosts knew the area inside out, from nearby places of interest to things to do, and were super nice and flexible with some of our unusual requests. The food was delicious, and they kindly worked around our dietary restrictions. I'd recommend staying at least 2 to 3 nights. Thanks, Dave and Jen, for having us. We'll definitely be back soon.

We watched shooting stars from bed under a crystal clear sky, with the mountains and wildlife around Eagle lake just outside. It was a peaceful break from city bustle, helped along by the lack of cell service and only limited wifi. The Moose cabin was rustic and private, just right for a romantic getaway with our dog. Best of all were the hosts. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, with great conversation, local knowledge, and spectacular food. The whole stay was more than we could have asked for, and we can't wait to return.
