The location made getting around easy. We came from Ottawa for the Auto Show, knowing the hotel was nearby and looked great, but I hadn’t realized it was attached to the convention centre and connected to union through the tunnel system. The stay was smooth from check-in to the end. The staff were friendly, our room was beautiful and spotless, and the views from our Deluxe 1 King Corner Room were unreal. We ate at the SOCO cafe and really enjoyed it. We’ve found our new go to spot and would recommend giving Delta a try.

We stayed at the Delta for a quick weekend in Toronto, and I’d come back for the service and location. The staff let us check in about half an hour early. On checkout day, I asked whether a taxi or Uber was better for getting to the airport in rush hour, and they kindly arranged a private vehicle, which was very convenient. The lobby was spacious and bright, right beside the CN Tower. The hotel connects directly to the PATH, which helped in the −15°C weather, though the marked connection was a little hard to find at first. Staff pointed us in the right direction quickly. Our two-queen room had a lake view. It wasn’t the fanciest, but it was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The furniture and washroom felt a bit dated, though they were well maintained. We didn’t get to try the pool or restaurant.

We could walk to everything from Delta Hotels Toronto, and the room was clean with a beautiful view. They quickly swapped out a stained pillow and brought extra ones up. I also appreciated getting to check in early without paying more. The only letdown was that the final charges included extra fees and didn’t match what I’d booked.

At the Metals Investment Forum on February 28th 2026, I was disappointed by how little vegan food was available at Delta hotel at 75 Lower Simcoe in Toronto. I’d noted my dietary needs when registering, but still had to explain them to the kitchen staff, manager, and event organizers. At breakfast, the choices were fruit and commercial pastries. I asked for something vegan and was refused, even when I said toast with peanut butter would be fine. Lunch was similar. They wouldn’t prepare a separate plate because the buffet supposedly had a vegan choice, but the only one I could find was grilled vegetables. I tried to explain that vegetables alone are a side dish and vegans need protein too. The chick pea salad had cheese, as did everything else. It’s disappointing that in 2026 we still have to make this case, while animal exploitation remains on the menu. This lack of customer service means I wouldn’t stay at this hotel.

I’ve stayed at several intercontinental locations, and this one is beautiful. A change in plans meant I needed to re book, but I got the run around from several concierge and a manager. Ms.CHRISTIE eventually helped me. She updated my reservation, heard me out, and understood the unforeseen circumstances. She was kind and really knew her job. I appreciate her more than she knows. She’s a great Concierge!
