Elegant Suite at 700 Bathurst

The price was good, and the place was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but I'd stay again. We had two queen beds, a clean bathroom, and a walkout to a nice patio. When I arrived, I called and someone came to let me in and show me the room. Just note the entrance is through the red gate on the side, not the front on Bathurst.

The location is convenient, but there isn't much else to recommend. The layout is strange, with two beds squeezed between two sinks and a mini fridge. Dust covered one of the bed frames, and the bathroom needed another scrub. The doors are shabby and the walls so thin that they offer no noise insulation.

The owner stayed up until 2am for us when our flight was delayed, and even offered to wash our clothes when we asked about coin laundry nearby. The rooms were sparkling clean and new. Breakfast was included, with milk, jam, bread, coffee, and juice. It's a highly recommended place to stay, right in downtown vancouver and within walking distance of subway 2 bathrust station.

The host was the best part of our stay, really kind and helpful. The room was huge and comfortable, and the location puts you right in central Toronto, with a Subway station close to the house. Highly recommend it for a few days in the city.
