The rooms were pretty meh, but the employees made this stay way better than our usual Marriott. We live nearby and normally go to another location when we're at a game, but this time we picked this one because it was close. Sharmin checked us in at 9:50 pm when we were wiped out, and she was a total gem. She shared a great tip for overnight parking in the secure garage, chatted with my wife and me on her break, and even gave us mints. Later we tried her favourites at the bar, the salmon bowl and burger, and both were great recommendations. Jessica served us too. We showed up 30 minutes before closing and were being d-holes, but she stayed chill and welcoming. Those women are rockstars. Great work, Marriot.

The rooms were what I expected, and staff and cleanliness were both great. The bathrooms looked really dated, the hallways and elevator felt very old, and the gym was tiny. Still, I'd absolutely stay here again.

For a quick solo stop, this was great. I had a good dinner at the open, lively Bistro and enjoyed Starbucks in the morning. I might choose somewhere else for a family trip since there's no free parking, pool, or breakfast buffet, but it worked well for my one-night work stay.

I'm partway through a 12-night stay and have found this to be a great hotel. The rooms are standard, but the service has been fantastic, with friendly, helpful staff throughout. It's easy to find and get to, and there's plenty of dining and shopping nearby. The restaurant has also surprised me in a good way. Hotel restaurants can be basic, but everything we've tried has been really good and reasonably priced.

The staff are the reason this hotel feels so welcoming. Everyone seemed to have a genuine smile, and they paid attention to the little things that made me feel like a VIP. Special thanks to Caroleena at the front desk, she rescued me from a mistake that would have ruined my vacation, and I'm really grateful. I chose the full breakfast room upgrade and was so glad I did. The open-concept bistro served delicious hot breakfasts with Starbucks coffee, juice, and fresh fruit, with lots of options that felt healthy too. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but this was a religious experience. The restaurant staff were friendly and generous and clearly took pride in serving guests. In the evening, it's a nice spot for a classy cocktail with friends or to watch the game, and the menu was delicious then too. My room was beautiful, modern, stylish, clean, and comfortable. The king bed was dreamy after a long trip, I slept beautifully, and I loved the downtown Toronto skyline view. There's also a pool and fitness center. The hotel has a fresh, luxurious feel, and would suit a wedding, conference, or reasonably priced luxury vacation. Full-service valet parking is available as well. It's right downtown at Yonge and College, steps from College subway station and the east-west streetcar, and within walking distance of lots of Toronto destinations. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return. Every detail made my stay unforgettable.
