Hope Williams from the events team made a huge difference for me as the bride. Her patience, attention to detail, and ability to get things done at a moment’s notice meant I really didn’t need a wedding planner. The Club was a near perfect place for our October wedding, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning an event for around 70-80 people. Guests praised how professional the serving staff were and how delicious the food was. Definitely get the steak, cheesecake, and poutine?! The room stayed comfortably cool all day, and people loved the long tables and grand feel of the reception and dining room. Thank you for everything. We couldn’t have done it without Hope.

I slept like a baby, even right downtown, thanks to a very comfortable bed. The property feels quaint and comfortable and was well maintained, and the staff were incredibly polite and professional. It’s an easy walk to most downtown attractions, including good restaurants and activities. Breakfast was a nice continental spread, and the in-room coffee machine was awesome. They also had lots of activities to sign up for. Highly recommended.

The University Club of Toronto made hosting our wedding a wonderful experience. The venue is stunning, and the food was five star. Every staff member we dealt with was professional, kind, and helpful. They went out of their way whenever they could and made us and our guests feel so welcome. None of our requests seemed too big or too small.

I went to my cousin’s wedding, with about 100 people there. The food and service were excellent, and the paintings and architecture were beautiful. You could hear protestors outside the nearby US consulate during the ceremony, which was held in the room facing University Ave. It’s a great spot for a small function if everyone lives downtown or is arriving by bike.
