Rainbow Motel

Thankfully, this horrible motel has been bulldozed. We were going to the provincial exhibition and needed somewhere for our dog, since we live two hours away and couldn't leave her in a hot car. We planned to check on her every few hours. At check-in, I told both a man and a woman that we were going to the fair and that I didn't want to leave the dog in the car. We paid, unloaded, settled her in the room, and were about to leave when the woman rushed out to ask if we'd be leaving the dog alone. She then said dogs couldn't be left in rooms. So I honestly can't say whether it was an okay place to stay, since I wasn't allowed to stay there. Please put the dog policy on your website. Being upfront with customers could bring you more business, and even a simple apology for the inconvenience would've gone a long way.

The room was clean and well kept, and for the price it was great. Each room comes with a PS3 and a free selection of Blu-ray movies and games. I'd recommend it.

The motel may be older, but it was truly spotless, and the outdoor pool was very clean too. The bed was the best I've ever slept in, and the towels looked brand new. Service at check-in was excellent. First time here, and I'll be back.

I've stayed here several times and will keep coming back whenever I'm in Truro. The rooms are nice, the staff pleasant, and everything was clean. There's satellite TV, games, AC, and high-speed internet. Best place I've found in this price range. I've paid a lot more for a lot less.
