We were on a late summer motorcycle tour when we stayed here. The staff made us feel welcome, and the place was quiet and restful. It’s a lovely, scenic location, with clean rooms that have been beautifully updated. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed one night during the Tweed fair, and I’d happily come back. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed, and the washroom had been recently renovated. I had my morning coffee by the lake, with beautiful views from the park right next door. There’s a great playground for kids, plus an outdoor BBQ with all the tools and a nice stone table. Amazing spot. I’d give it more stars if I could.

A heads-up if you’re staying in Tweed: nearby food options close early, so go eat before it gets too late. We were there for one night during a tour of Haliburton and the Kawarthas. The motel is clean and up to date, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the setting beside the town park and beach is scenic and comfortable. Great place, and I’d stay again.

The lake is beautiful, with a play area for kids and walks for adults, and there are some great meal options nearby. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was neat and clean, looked recently updated, and even smelled clean. Definitely a great choice.
