The location was literally the only decent thing. We paid $1000 for 5 days, and I feel like I would’ve been better off sleeping outside. Half the plugs are so old they won’t hold even a phone charger. Every night, it sounded like furniture was being moved upstairs. The bathroom fan was so loud, like a jet taking off, it woke everyone in our room and probably the connecting rooms too. The stove looked about 50 years old. The only thing to clean with in the kitchenette was a moldy, smelly sponge, the silverware looked like it came from a camping toolbox, and the dishes were dirty too. There were gaps all around the door where you could see outside. The room was boiling, with no AC and no window screen. The beds weren’t comfortable at all. The office staff were nowhere to be found, so ask any questions when you get your key, because you won’t see them or get hold of them later. A local told us it’s owned by someone outside the country who doesn’t care and puts exactly ZERO dollars into it. The pictures aren’t accurate. I swear I was gonna have bedbugs after this trip! I’ll never return to this hellhole. Please, for the love of all that is holy, stay somewhere else!

We bring our family here at LEAST three times a year, and it’s a beautiful spot to camp with really friendly people. When we want a day off from cooking, the Pub is a nice treat, with really good food and nice staff. Thanks to everyone, especially Kathy, for always making my family feel welcome.

The location is beautiful, but the restaurant portions are tiny for the prices. A four-inch piece of cod with fries cost $25. That’s insanity.

Ucluelet itself is beautiful, and I’d 100% return to the town, but never, never, never to this hovel. It was one of the grubbiest places I’ve stayed. Neither the shower nor the bathroom sink worked, and there were holes in the doors. The place needed a good clean. I didn’t bother reporting the plumbing since I was only there for two nights and didn’t want to waste a moment of beautiful Ucluelet.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s in Ucluelet. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, and the carpet was filthy. The balcony and stairs had very wobbly railings, so a child or anyone else could easily fall and kill themselves. I’d definitely try for a refund, but there are no other rooms available in town. I’m highly disgusted and disappointed, and wish I could give -5 stars. At checkout, absolutely nobody was there to take the keys. If you knock on the residence door, they peek out from behind the curtain but won’t open it to speak to you. This whole place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
