The breakfast here was a proper restaurant meal, and it was included. I also got a spring discount, and laundry was just $2/load. Brian at the front desk was so polite, professional, and accommodating. This was stop five on my week-long drive across most of Canada and easily the best place I stayed. It’s right off Hwy 43 in Alberta, about an hour from Grand Prairie, and both the rooms and grounds felt clean and welcoming. After some pretty awful stays, ending my route here made the drive so much better. I’d absolutely recommend stopping in.

The location makes it easy to get around, with the main street and Co-op grocery store just a couple of minutes away on foot. They also give you a voucher for breakfast in the morning. A great motel, and it’s always clean.

I like being able to park my pickup right outside the door, and I always ask for a ground-floor room. It’s motel-style, with a bar and restaurant attached. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were nice. Fox Creek was full, so I came here instead and was glad I did. It can fill up fast since this is an oil patch town. Highly recommend it.

After our truck broke down in their parking lot on Christmas Eve, in -35, the inn gave us a room free for four days while we waited for parts and for AMA to tow the truck. I can’t thank the staff enough for that. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Valleyview. They’ve got a customer for life.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We only stayed one night, but being able to park right outside the door made unloading the car easy, and the location was quiet.
