Sandman Suites Vancouver on Davie

After more than a day of travel from Australia, we arrived to find our room ready. Faranak at reception welcomed us warmly and took time to share useful tips about the area and things to do. She was kind, generous with her time, and happy to help with anything. Sandman Suites were incredible, and Faranak is an absolute star. Highly, highly recommend!

We were grateful for the staff who sorted out our parking ticket after our payment information hadn't been recorded properly. They helped get it removed. The location was convenient, but the stay fell short of the cleanliness and service we've had at other Sandman locations, especially for the price, and we'd likely look elsewhere next time. On arrival, the room smelled strongly of urine. The floors had visible strands of hair and hadn't been cleaned properly, and there were coffee stains on the table. It didn't feel ready for check-in. When we raised this with the manager, we were told the hotel was full and couldn't move us. Another staff member checked the room herself, saw the problems, and found us a different one within minutes. We really appreciated her quick help.

Ahmad at the front desk(manager) made my stay at the Sandman Suites on Davie Street in Vancouver comfortable and memorable. I asked about an upgrade, and he kindly arranged one. He was accommodating, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. His hospitality really stood out, thank you, Ahmad, for such excellent customer service!

The staff were helpful, and the room can be serviced daily. It was quiet, with a one-bed apartment, a pull-out in the main room, and a well-equipped kitchen area with plenty of sockets. Tea and coffee were provided. The lifts were slow, and unfortunately the pool was closed. The gym had varied equipment, though the cable machine needed some maintenance.
