It's dated, but Doreen keeps the place nice and clean. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well last night. I've stayed here a couple of times and will keep coming back.

The rooms were comfy and had an added rustic charm, and the people were great. I stayed for a week. It's a long walk to the town centre if that's what you're planning, but all in all it was pretty good.

Tel-A-Frend was a great stay for a great price. Our room had an unexpected full kitchen and king bed, and came with all the amenities we could ask for. The place is thoughtfully put together, with a comfortable grandma's house feel and an 80's-90's time-capsule look. Props for keeping the old CRT tv. Five stars, I'll definitely "tel-a-frend"!

I loved staying here. Doreen, the owner, was delightful and ready to help with whatever we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette unit was well stocked. It doesn't feel like a boring chain hotel.

We had a lovely, comfortable, inviting weekend stay at the Tel A Friend (Boutique) Motel. The owners have made it into a boutique motel, and all the rooms have different themes. We had a cozy western-themed room, which was so cool. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning were welcome when the day warmed up. Thanks for a great visit. We'll be back to try another of the unique rooms.
