The views from up there are amazing, and being a bit off the beaten track wasn't a problem since we had a car. Our ground-floor room was right by the front entrance, which we liked because we didn't have to walk through the property to get to it. I'm not sure where the other rooms are. Jolly and her husband were lovely and welcoming. The room was cosy and comfortable, with lots of extras like soap, shampoo, spare towels, and slippers. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't rate it, but they offered plenty of choices, including fruit, eggs, and toast. They even brought us freshly picked peaches and cherries.

Ruth and Peter were delightful hosts, and breakfast was excellent. We had a quiet, clean suite with a full kitchen and a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

We loved the peaceful surroundings, and our hosts made us feel welcome and at home. We had an awesome stay, though we were disappointed not to spot a bear. Maybe next time.
