Breakfast and service were both 10/10, and I felt extremely safe traveling here alone as a young woman. This charming little inn has creaky floors and gave me Gilmore Girls vibes. I loved every second of it. It's a beautiful place to stay in Victoria, a few blocks from downtown and walkable to everything.

The Beaconsfield Inn is full of character, dating from the 18OOs, with several large rooms, each with its own bathroom. The dining room is well maintained and looks out onto the trees. Breakfasts were gourmet. The location is incredible, close to the city center on a quiet street surrounded by gorgeous trees. Kathy, the caretaker, was a gem: patient, kind, and accommodating. She offered to hold our suitcases until late afternoon on departure day. When a couple of friends in Victoria came by, she welcomed them and even offered wine and snacks. Plan to stay here when you visit Victoria. You won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely one-night stay. It was a unique experience and well worth it, with a good location. Breakfast was far too foo-foo for me, though my wife liked it. Give it a try if you're after something a bit different from the run-of-the-mill.

The house itself is a masterpiece, full of character and beautiful details. We loved our two nights at Beaconsfield. Cathy gave us a warm welcome and shared the fascinating history of the property and its original owners. The breakfasts were delicious, and they thoughtfully accommodated our dietary restrictions. I was so happy to find this place. It's in a great location, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, with antiques, fresh flowers, and fresh cookies. The woman who checked me in was so kind. I absolutely loved staying here!
