The renovation didn't disrupt our stay, and the staff were incredible. The front desk team was helpful before we arrived and throughout the visit. The location and value were both great, and I'd stay again. I just wish the beds were more comfortable and the sheets less scratchy.

The buffet breakfast was outstanding, and the staff serving it were wonderful. During the hockey tournament they made sure there was enough food every day, and we never ran out. Thank you for that. The location was also great, with food and entertainment in walking distance. Try monster burger a block away, it was to die for. The beds, though, were so hard and uncomfortable that I could probably have slept just as well on the floor. Because of that, I can't say we'll be back.

The breakfast had a spectacular range, from eggs, ham, fruit, and make-your-own waffles to fresh coffee and plenty more. Staff were friendly and helpful, and service was quick and efficient. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a bed that felt just right. The elevator was easy to get to and parking was near the entrance. It's also close to the inner harbour and places to eat. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was excellent, and the dining room was just as good. The staff there were kind and very helpful, keeping everything clean and fully stocked. They're the only reason I'd give service three stars. The rest of the stay was disappointing. I had filtered for free parking, then found out on arrival that parking cost extra. The lot is mostly laid out for small cars. I had a compact sedan, luckily, but saw a few SUV drivers Austin Powers their way out of stalls. I booked a king bed, though what I got was at most a double, maybe a hotel queen if I'm being generous. There were fruit flies coming out of the bathroom sink, and when I mentioned that and the bed size to the front desk, I got a blank stare. The bathroom door had no lock, and the main door had neither a chain nor an extra deadlock. As a woman traveling alone, that made me anxious. There was also an adjoining-room door. It may have locked from both sides, but it didn't look like that kind of door, which made me a little nervous too.
