Hotel Rialto

A great little spot for our time in Victoria. The staff gave excellent service and went out of their way to handle our requests. I especially liked the coffee in the room, and there’s a big liquor store right next door if you need one. L&R

The hotel surprised each guest with a Christmas stocking full of treats and a card during our Dec 24- Dec 26 stay. Thank you, Victoria, the manager, for that lovely gesture. We were really satisfied: the location is great, the rooms are clean, the bathroom’s heated floor feels wonderful, and the hotel provides high-quality l'occitane products. We could hear the crossing signal beeps from the street every minute all night, even with the windows shut, and the walls don’t block sound well between rooms. If you’re driving and need hotel parking, get directions ahead of time. The parking is in a building across the street. Highly recommended.

The shower was large and wonderful, and I slept amazingly well in a dark, quiet, comfortable room. My one small annoyance was the pedestal sink and tiny bathroom table, which left very little room for toiletries. The location makes it easy to walk to everything downtown, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed a couple of nights recently and hope to be back soon.

A real boutique hotel find, within walking distance of most downtown Victoria attractions. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, with heated bathroom floors. Front office service was exceptional. There’s good coffee and cookies in the room, plus complimentary coffee and fruit in the lobby each morning. Great quality for the price.
