Wasaga River Resort Inc

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years and can’t picture staying anywhere else. The villas are beautifully kept, right on the river and just a stone’s throw from the main beach. Nick and Elizabeth are both wonderful to deal with. The only problems I’ve seen have come when they let in young guests who were drunk or stoned, acted foolishly, and showed no respect for their own things or anyone else’s property. I’d never open my home to people like that. Sorry, but that’s how I see it.

DO NOT BOOK WITH NICK!!!! He made what should’ve been a fun trip with friends feel like we were locked up. He accused us of skinny-dipping and called us losers. The way he treated us was disrespectful and unprofessional. The photos don’t show the filth you’ll be paying for, and it’s far too expensive. He also refused to return our deposit, giving what I consider made-up reasons. Stay somewhere else.

There was no privacy, and it felt like we were being watched the whole time. The owner made false accusations about skinny-dipping and called guests losers, among other things. It was a very unprofessional stay. The online pictures are misleading, too. If you want a fun weekend, I’d stay well away from the wasaga river prison.

The cottages are nice and spacious, with a good view and plenty of room on the deck. They’re also within walking distance of beach one. Some of the BBQs worked, though a few HDMI ports on the TVs didn’t.
