Bayshore Inn & Spa

At the Lakeside Chophouse and Wine Bar, Britney looked after me with courtesy and thoughtfulness, smiling the whole time. Everyone was wonderful, from the hostesses to Britney. The view was incredible, unlike anything I’d seen before. My food was fresh, tasty, nutritious and beautifully presented, and the chef is very talented. Thanks for such a great experience. The lakefront location is the one good thing I can say about this place. The rooms looked worn even though they seemed to have had some upgrades. The front desk staff weren’t accommodating; they wouldn’t help with anything we asked. We only wanted to leave our bags in the lobby for half an hour after checkout, and they said absolutely not.

Seeing deer walk past our door was lovely, and the balcony was a relaxing place to sit. We had a lakeview standard room at the Bayshore Inn, facing the water, with a beautiful view. It looked recently remodeled and was clean, comfortable and nice. Waterton is a cute little town, and we enjoyed walking around. The noise kept us from getting a good night’s sleep. The walls and ceiling are very thin, and we could hear the people upstairs stomping and talking loudly. That’s why I’m taking off a star. Otherwise it was a great stay, and I’d come back and request a second-floor room.

The location is great, and everything else was good until we got a call complaining about noise. We were barely making any. There probably isn’t enough sound insulation between the units. If you’re bringing kids, I’d choose a ground-floor room rather than upstairs.
