George, the gentleman working on New Year's Eve, was the highlight. Thanks to him, our overnight stop was easy. We had two rooms next to each other for our family, with four nice queen beds, and the price for both rooms was decent. You can see they tried with the decor and furnishings, though the contractors clearly did poor work. Since the hotel was closed on New Year's Day, they left out a basic breakfast. I bet it's usually decent. We'd stay again.

I booked four rooms for a corporate trip, with the bookings under my employees' names. After my team drove 14 hours to Wawa for work, they found that none of the rooms had hot or even warm water. Nobody warned them at check-in. It felt as if staff hoped guests wouldn't notice. When my team reported it at 8 PM, they were told it was being worked on, but there was no proactive update, apology, or meaningful effort to make things right. The hot water didn't return until the middle of the night, far too late for exhausted travellers who needed to work the next day. The rooms were basic, and a working hot shower is a minimum standard, not a luxury. It's unhygienic and unprofessional to run a hotel without reliable hot water, especially without telling guests ahead of time. After the stay, the hotel also avoided our calls and attempts to discuss what happened or get a refund. The lack of communication and accountability was as disappointing as the water problem. This showed a serious lack of transparency, preparation, and basic guest care. I'd strongly caution corporate travellers and anyone expecting standard amenities to look elsewhere.

The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was very good. Our rooms were clean, though there wasn't enough hot water. The internet cut out a lot, but that's okay, we all have data. We'll definitely be back.

The breakfast was excellent, with real scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and a delightful range of syrups for hot drinks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. We travelled from the Bruce Peninsula to Kenora, and this was our favourite stop!

After a 13-hour drive through a blizzard, we reached the hotel close to 10 PM. The receptionist greeted us warmly, got us checked in quickly, and reminded us breakfast started at 7 AM. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the service felt warm and attentive. We truly felt at home. I'm glad I booked two nights on our trip, and I highly recommend staying here on the Winnipeg to Toronto drive. 👍👍👍
