We were stuck in Wawa because the highway was closed, and after checking local motel reviews, chose the outdoorsman for its ratings. The front desk woman was friendly and helpful, even offering us a fresh homemade cookie. Our room was spotless and cute as a button, with pine-paneled walls and log furnishings. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was squeaky clean and recently renovated. I highly recommend the outdoorsman motel in Wawa.

After a long drive from Sudbury to Kenora, we stopped here and slept better than I have in a long time. The room was immaculately clean, quiet, cozy, and comfortable. The full fridge was a nice surprise, and the beds and pillows were super comfy. We didn’t even hear people leaving for work in the morning. Had a great cup of coffee, then hit the road. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We’ve been booking for our whole group of 12 for four years, and we’ll keep coming back. The staff are great, there’s parking for my large truck and trailer, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. We were happy to have good wifi and stay close together as a group. Thanks again, Outdoorsman. Loved it!

I’m glad I picked this quiet little find just off the Highway. The front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and charming. The rooms were clean, with rustic living-edge furniture, cedar walls, comfortable beds, a full-size fridge, and a microwave. The bathrooms were bright, modern, and clean.

We made a last-minute call to stay the night in Wawa, and the owner was very accommodating. They gave great service and explained everything thoroughly. The room was quiet and cozy, clearly cared for, and meticulously cleaned. It’s right off the highway, the price was great, and I’ll definitely stay again.
