I had to make last-minute plans for a funeral in Sturgeon Falls, and this place turned out to be perfect. It was a clean, private space right in the downtown centre, with comfortable beds, modern decor, and a full kitchen area. I was very happy with it and liked being able to come and go as I pleased.

We rented every room at MJD suites for our bridal party, the groom and groomsmen, and our immediate family when I got married at Barn and Bliss in July. It was fantastic and so convenient to have the place to ourselves. The boys stayed upstairs and had their own entrance. Hair, makeup, the photographer, and videographer could set up in separate rooms and do their thing. We could move between rooms as needed without worrying about bothering other guests since it was just us. Thanks so much, MJD.

A good experience. If you're nearby, I'd definitely say give this place a try.

I've stayed here several times. It's very clean, and the owners are hospitable. It feels like a home away from home, and I'd recommend this place anytime.
