I spend plenty of nights in hotels for work, but this one had a particularly welcoming feel. Dorian and Tracy at the desk were wonderful from check-in right through to checkout. They helped with every part of the process and offered recommendations. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Williams Lake.

We were passing through late during a long road trip, and Dorian made sure we were comfortable for the whole stay. The service was so good that I'd gladly stop here again, or at any hotel where Dorian works.

I book all the hotel rooms for our employees' work travel, and Tracy Roy makes the whole thing simple. Even when I've brought her a couple of tricky requests, she's come through every time. Guest Services Manager Tracy Roy is the best. Love the Sandman and love Tracy!

There were about 30 mattresses piled in the lobby. I asked if so many had been removed because of bedbug problems. The man at the front desk told me, “even if we did, we would never tell you.” My room was clean enough, as far as I could tell, but I won't stay here again. Check-in took half an hour even though I'd prepaid and there was nobody else waiting. The common areas smelled bad, supposedly because of construction, and a street person milling around the hallways asked me for change.

The mattresses felt softer than a fresh bag of marshmallows. Otherwise, the place was clean and nice, with various renovations underway, and the customer service was very good.
