Airport Motel

The staff took great care of my daughter during a tough month, and I'm very grateful. The rooms were spotless, the property was clean and welcoming, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The motel is close to restaurants and shopping, with just about everything you might need only minutes away. It's a very reasonably priced option, with good weekly rates that can even cost less than a month's rent. Highly recommended.

My only real gripe was getting out of the parking lot onto the road during the day, with all the traffic. Otherwise, the staff were kind and friendly, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. They're on the small side, but not too bad. The shower stayed hot for a long time, and the motel is close to the airport and the expressway, which makes most of the city easy to reach.

My grandparents, Burt and Fran Turnbull, owned this building, and I lived there when they did. I remember my grandmother cleaning every room each day. If someone needed a place to stay and was short on cash, they were always accommodating, and some units were rented by the month. I haven't been back since the new owners took over after my grandparents passed. My rating is based on my experience there over 30 years ago. I hope the new owners care about people more than their pocketbooks, as my grandparents did.

A very affordable motel on Walker Street, with about 10 rooms in a row and plenty of free parking. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms. Mine was simply furnished with a double bed and a small table and chairs, plus a fridge, microwave, TV, shower, air conditioner, and clean towels and linens. No queen bed rooms were left.
