The first 20 seconds, I wanted to leave. The room felt dirty and smelled bad, maybe from mold, even though the place was clean. The whole place needs renovation. The electrical appliances should have been replaced 10-15 years ago, and it felt like the owners were very greedy, saving money on everything. There was no proper lock on the shared shower, and the soundproofing was absolutely zero. I couldn't sleep until 2 am because a couple behind the wall was having fun. While I was there, I felt kidnapped and locked in a basement. This must be illegal. The hotel has no right to exist if it doesn't meet any requirements. I don't understand the five-star reviews. Most likely they're from her friends and relatives, because the good reviews don't match reality. This might have been okay for $30 a night, but not $125. Please do something about this place. I feel stressed and depressed because of it. A very unpleasant experience.

It was dirty, but honestly you get what you pay for. It's cheap if you need somewhere to stay, but I probably wouldn't come back.

I decided to offer some suggestions to help bring in more guests, rather than leave bad comments. Improve the cleanliness with regular deep cleaning and sanitizing of high-touch areas. Invest in better mattresses, pillows, and climate control so guests can rest. Train staff to be attentive and respond promptly, and update the decor, lighting, and common areas to make the motel feel more welcoming.
