Restaurants are plentiful within 10km, and Tim Hortons is about a 5km drive away. I haven't stayed there myself, but it's a beautiful building in a lovely spot, just a short walk from the beach and the East Coast Trail.

There was no climate control in the 35+ degree heat, and the bed bounced around on wheels so much that I felt like I was at sea. One of the most uncomfortable nights I've ever had.

The house was cozy and beautiful, with plenty of room for our group of 12. We each had our own room and bathroom, and the beds were really comfortable. The grounds are lovely, and the hot tub spa room was even better than we expected, very clean and stocked with lots of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, with plenty of dishes and utensils, and there was ice in the freezer too, which I appreciated. The East Coast Trail is close by, and the rocky beach is across the street. Kendra was pleasant and easy to reach by phone. Apart from meals and drinks, everything we needed for our stay was already there. We'd definitely come back as a group, and I would recommend Bear’s Cove Inn 100% to anyone. After three days of nonstop driving to our new home, my partner and I were exhausted, so this Inn was a welcome sight. It was the coziest place I've stayed. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast came hot and filling. Our host Christina was excellent and very accommodating.

The rooms were fine, but the food and service left us very disappointed. Dinner was just a small bowl of chili with a bun. For breakfast, the choices were raisin bran, rice krispy, cheerio, or toast with little jam packets, without even peanut butter. The service wasn't friendly, and this felt completely different from the other places we've stayed in Newfoundland. We were there as part of a hiking trip.
