The kitchen had plenty of equipment, and there was enough room for two. The apartments are centrally located, with nice, spacious bathrooms. Check-in and checkout were both very smooth.

We slept well on the quiet street, and the room was a good size. There was everything we needed in the apartment, including a handy pull-out desk/table where we could prepare and eat breakfast. The staff were helpful. A Smart TV would have made this a five-star room.

There’s no dinner at the restaurant, but that was fine with so many places to eat nearby. The hotel's location made it easy to walk around Basel, and the spacious room, comfortable bed, reliable wifi, on-site laundry and gym were all convenient. Parking was a hassle: you have to get out of the car to scan your key card at the gate, then get back in. The shower also felt risky, with a slippery surface, a high tub wall and no grab bar. The sink is worn, too. For laundry, you can use the two Electrolux machines in the basement yourself or pay for the hotel service. I washed my own clothes and detergent brought the cost to 10 CHF. Breakfast is 28 CHF and has few options, so I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was comfortable, and staff were especially friendly and helpful. My stay included a Basel card for free public transport and discounted attractions. There’s plenty nearby, and the garage downstairs is spacious, with good member-rate parking.

The rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet, and the price is good compared with Basel. Excellent hotel, highly recommended.
