The osso bucco was delicious and so tender, with really good quality meat and a very generous portion. The risotto and sauce went perfectly with it. The mixed salad was also well seasoned and large. Staff were friendly and attentive, and we didn't have to wait long. I'd definitely come back.

The food was good, but the service was very unfriendly. We waited 10 minutes just to order drinks, then another 15 before they arrived and we could order food. After that, our four pizzas took a full hour.

We waited a long time just to get menus and place our order. When someone arrived late, we waited again and couldn't get the server's attention. In the end we had to wave our hands to call him over. When he came, he complained about us doing that, which felt bad. We wouldn't have needed to if he'd checked the tables more often.

We think your pizzas are the best in Basel, but we'd love a smaller size. We almost never finish them, so maybe you could offer a personal pizza that's 25-30% smaller? The atmosphere can get pretty hectic on busy nights. We prefer things calmer, though we know the busy evenings are better for the bottom line.

The Caroussel part has a lovely feel, with painted wood covering the ceiling like an old merry-go-round. I enjoyed my pizza, though I'm not keen on those big, thin sausage slices. Smaller, thicker ones are easier to eat.
