Thevilla made a welcoming base for my business trip, with a quiet, clean shared area and drinks available from an honesty cabinet at reasonable prices. The owner clearly puts thought into making guests feel at home. My room was simple but inviting, and came with extras I didn't expect, including a minibar, a welcome drink, and a folder with information about the stay and the local area. It's also close to several embassies. I'd recommend staying here.

The room felt really cozy, and all the little touches made us feel welcome. The shared bathroom arrangement and room layout were organized very well. We'd stay here again.

Getting into the room was easy every time, even late at night, thanks to clear instructions. Everything seemed well thought out. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the place was clean, comfortable, and friendly. Breakfast cost extra, but the continental spread was nicely presented with a good range of quality food. Fresh bread and cheerful, gentle music made for a lovely start to the day. Downtown is about a 30-minute walk away, or a quick tram ride. I'd definitely come back.

The house has everything you need, and there's a tram stop nearby even though it's outside the city center. We were also given a free public transport card. You book a room, while the kitchen and bathroom are shared with other guests. The shower was really cool, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable. New mattresses would make this place great.

My girlfriend and I really liked the hotel's theme and overall feel. When I needed to call with questions because I wasn't experienced at planning trips, the staff member was helpful and ready to assist. There were always parking spaces available while we were there. A very good option for a short stay in Bern, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in Bern again.
