We could easily walk from the hotel to the old town, the lakeside, the train station, and other public transport. Our room was clean and comfortable, and having a small kitchen was great. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We also had breakfast downstairs in the newly renovated area, where there was a nice selection of food.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the bright spaces had a calm but lively feel that made guests feel at home. The hotel is elegant and welcoming, with positive energy in the heart of Geneva. The lake and Alps views are breathtaking. It’s a comfortable, peaceful place to relax or explore, with the promise of beautiful moments and memorable experiences.

We booked two rooms through Trip.com for 20 to 21 December 2025. When we checked in, both rooms had visibly unhygienic bedding, with lots of human hairs on the sheets and duvet covers. We left immediately that night and did not stay at all. Three weeks later, we still had no response from the hotel and no refund, even though a full refund had been confirmed. The hotel kept our money despite our not staying, and has ignored us. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel under the Accor group. We first reported the dirty bedding to Maria at the front desk. She dismissed the visible hairs, saying they were not hair but “air dust,” and even claimed it was normal for sheets to be covered in hair. We asked to change rooms. She said none were available and only showed us one alternative after repeated, strong requests. For the other room, she refused to offer a change, repeatedly said there was “nothing she could do,” and pressured us to accept it. She never suggested a solution. With no other option, we asked the hotel to replace the entire bedding set. Maria said we had to do it ourselves, then reluctantly gave us replacement items. Despite our explaining several times that we needed a full set, she gave us only six pillowcases, no sheets or duvet covers. She had seen the dirty bedding herself and knew what needed replacing. Her manner throughout was rude, arrogant, and dismissive, and she kept shifting responsibility instead of treating us as guests. The experience caused serious distress to our family. We were travelling with an elderly family member, whose rest and mental well-being were seriously affected. After Maria provided no help, we contacted Trip.com, which reached out to the hotel. We were told the issue was “resolved,” but the hotel still refused cancellation, and nothing had actually been resolved. Eventually, a male colleague on the night shift said we could cancel and receive a full refund. We strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
