Hotel Cornavin

We got to Geneva after midnight because our train was very late. The receptionist was fantastic and gave us a late checkout and breakfast at no charge after the trouble we'd had the night before. The staff were great throughout. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a wonderful view, and the bathroom was big as well. Breakfast was amazing. They kept our bags for free while we explored Geneva, and after checkout they let us wait in the lobby for our train to Paris. I'd stay here on a trip to Geneva.

I booked this for my in-laws, and they had a great stay. They liked being so close to the train station and other public transport, and thought the rooms were great. They'd like me to book it again for their next trips.

The location is great, right by the train and bus stations, though you can hear trains at night and it gets a bit noisy. Inside, the room was huge, easily big enough for three people to dance around. There was a large table and bathroom, and everything was very clean. The shower had strong water pressure, and having two sinks meant no waiting. The lobby is enormous, with lots of comfortable sofas, so it's nice to just sit there. The bed was an okay size, a little short for my dad but still fine. This was the most enjoyable hotel of our trip.

A good choice for a business trip, with roomy rooms and a comfortable desk to work at. Breakfast was nice, and the view over Geneve and the mountains was the best part. Inside is the world's biggest mechanical clock 🌎. You do feel a little shaking when a train goes by.
