We had dinner there, and the raclette was delicious. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was generous. Owner Xavier and the team looked after us attentively the whole time. It’s a delightful, traditional little hotel in a great spot, with everything you could need. We’ll definitely return.

We chose the hotel restaurant for Fondue Moitte during our visit to Gruyeres. The fondue was for one person, but there were four of us, and everyone else ordered something different. They still added a 3 CHF supp couvert charge, then made us pay another 15 CHF, or 5 CHF per person. That was completely unacceptable. They wouldn’t acknowledge the issue and were very rude, apart from the gentleman who brought the fondue, who was more polite. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend eating here. Go somewhere else. There are definitely much nicer and more polite alternatives in France.
