Carlton-Europe Vintage Adults Hotel

The views of the Alps and road from the front-facing rooms are exceptional, and the Carlton-Europe Hotel is beautifully designed, especially the balconies in the higher-category rooms. The lobby feels cozy and lodge-like, with a fireplace, while the spacious breakfast area has plenty of choice. Andre served us at breakfast for just one day, but his attentive, professional service really stood out. The overall service was less consistent. Of the three or four staff we spoke with at the front desk, one was unhelpful and barely smiled, though a couple of younger staff were polite and helpful. Thanks to David, who was busy but still made a real effort to assist us. The hotel is stunning, well located, and comfortable, with great amenities. More consistent service would make it outstanding. I'd still highly recommend the Carlton-Europe Hotel in Interlaken.

Breakfast was included and wonderful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived. I wish I could remember how to spell their names! The hotel is an easy walk from the train station, and the center of town is also a pleasant stroll away. Our room was spacious and had a Nespresso machine. I loved the mix of old hotel character from the 1800s and modern amenities.

We booked a last-minute trip and chose Carlton for its proximity to the train station. The stay was nicer than I expected for what I paid. The hotel has a traditional, rustic feel, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. They took time to walk us through things to do around town. I'd definitely come back.

The Christmas decorations made the whole place feel extra cozy and a little magical. Every corner seemed warm and thoughtfully prepared to make guests feel at home. I loved staying at Hotel Carlton Europe. It has a charming vintage atmosphere, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city.
