The location made it easy to walk to the lake, train station, old parts of town, Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument, Coop, and Migros, mostly on flat ground. Being able to use the washer and dryer after 4pm was a real help, too. Our spacious two-room apartment at Appartements Hofquartier was very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. Christian was friendly, helpful, and quick to answer our questions. We enjoyed our stay very much. This place was a gem during our time in Lucerne!

We spent four nights in the apartments in Luzern and had a wonderful time. The place was spacious and comfortable, and having cooking facilities was great. Check-in was well organized, and Christian, the host, was incredibly responsive. It’s an excellent location, not far from the main station and with a beautiful walk along the lake. There were a few minor quirks, but nothing that should put anyone off staying here. Thanks for a great stay!

Free laundry in the basement was a huge bonus, and Christian was informative and accommodating when we had requests. At Appartements Hofquartier, everything was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. We cooked breakfast each morning in the furnished kitchen. The apartment was quiet and close to the train, and fully furnished for a short or long stay. 10/10, would recommend to any traveler.

Christian Moser and his wife hosted us in a cozy one-bedroom apartment. The bus stop right outside has free trams for tourists, and they get you to the train station in minutes. The tram timetables for the station are shown below. It was honestly more convenient than taking an Uber. The apartment had a decent-sized queen bedroom with a desk, a separate living room with a small TV, and a small kitchen where we cooked some good old Indian food. More than anything, Christian, his wife, and the team at Apartments Hofquartier worked so amicably to sort out issues. It was a pleasure staying there.

We could walk everywhere, including to the train station to ask about a trip to Mount Pilatus, which is a must-see. When we left, Patricia promptly arranged a taxi to take us and all our luggage back to the station. We also met Christian, the building owner, who was extremely friendly and genuinely interested in how our stay was going. Patricia greeted us on arrival, helped us settle in, and explained the entry system. For us, the main things when choosing a place while traveling are cleanliness, friendliness, location, and cost, and Appartements Hofquartier met all our expectations. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed Lucerne and would most likely return one day. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
