I was far away but wanted to surprise my sister on a very special day. The team at La Maison du Prussien went out of their way to make it happen, with such kind, attentive service and care for the details. I felt supported from a distance and trusted them to get everything right. They did, and helped create a memorable experience for my sister. Highly recommended!

The staff were professional and attentive, and it was a pleasure to meet the person behind the exquisite dishes. My partner and I had been looking forward to dinner at la Maison du Prussien for a long time. Every plate and wine seemed to have its own story, with surprises throughout the courses. I'd highly recommend it for a date night or special occasion.

The hotel rooms are really nicely done, and the restaurant is excellent with a very good wine cellar. The surroundings are the one drawback, since it's wedged between the railway and an industrial area. Still, stay for a night and include dinner. You'll get a good deal.

We had a great evening with the tasting menu and matching wines, and the service was lovely. The chef even came by our table. The deer burger stood out for me: it had a haute-cuisine feel but still that slightly greasy burger taste. Really special food. It's very pricey, think 3* Michelin, though I guess that's normal by Swiss standards. Five stars for the food, four for the price.
