Getting into the city and back was easy with the tram nearby. The place and the surrounding area were gorgeous. Loved it!

We had such a wonderful 5-day stay and hope to come back. The breakfasts were generous, varied, and exceptional, and the service was impeccable. Fabienne and her husband deserve many thanks. Our room had every comfort and lots of thoughtful touches, and the rooms are magnificent. It was a calm, relaxing place, and the hostess was charming and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

The villa’s garden is beautifully landscaped, with lovely paintings by the owner’s husband, Ali Al-Maghribi. The owner is very kind and helpful, handles all the home’s decor, and offers free Wi-Fi. Most of the furniture is made up of antiques she collected from different countries. It’s a quiet place that suits families with children, though the standard feels similar to furnished apartments in the UAE, with the added experience of sharing the villa with other guests. The villa is a beautiful hotel with several rooms and a spacious garden around the house. It’s some distance from the city center, but the station is about 450 meters away, and train number 14 takes about 20 minutes for a round trip. At night, the route from the station to the hotel goes through a dimly lit area, which could feel uncomfortable for women or children. There are no security cameras on the property. The blankets and mattresses are old, and I think a hotel should provide white bedding that’s changed every day. The cleaning supplies aren’t special, and breakfast is basic. There are lots of insects around the trees, though that’s typical of the city. There’s no air conditioning, but fans are available. The suite is in the basement and has no windows, though there’s a lounge area in front of it. You can sit anywhere in the house. There are also many statues, idols, and paintings around the property.

The homeowner is kind and provides excellent service.
