We had a lovely stay at the Tailormade hotel LEO in St Gallen. Kathy, the manager, and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful, going out of their way with suggestions for restaurants, places to visit and things to do. Our room had plenty of space and windows, plus motorized shades and blackout curtains. Breakfast was very good, especially the coffee and espresso drinks. We didn't get to have dinner at the LEO because of the timing of our stay, but we ate at a couple of its sister restaurants, and both were very good. St. Gallen is a picturesque town about an hour east of Zurich. Our daughter has a job there, so we'll be back and will definitely stay at the LEO again.

The hotel is right beside the train station and easy to find, which made getting there simple after we flew into Zurich. It was also a handy base for our trips around the country. My partner and I spent three nights here on our first visit to Switzerland. We had a brilliant room with a double bed and a TV you could cast your phone to, plus complimentary coffee. Access to the sauna and rooftop hot tubs and sun loungers was an added bonus. I'd highly recommend it for an affordable, comfortable stay in st gallen, and we'll try to use this chain again on our next trip to Switzerland.

The room was clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was very good. The reception staff were kind and helpful throughout, and the location was excellent. Everything was just as we expected. We hope to come back soon!

The spa is a nice extra, though the hotel could explain it better. The sauna is only open in the evening until 10 PM, and both times the rooftop jacuzzi details were unclear, including whether guests should be nude or wear a suit. The gym is tiny, with room for just one person, so you might not get to use it. It has a spinner, dumbbells up to 10KG and some very light stretch bands. Still, this is one of the best hotels in ST. Gallen. The rooms are cozy and spacious, and breakfast is really great, with fresh bakery bread, eggs, yoghurt and charcuterie.
